Here’s Spot,she’s a Welsh collie,I’ve been without a dog for almost 3 years,since my last collie died,she came from a local farm as she wasn’t working but they had been reluctant to rehome,my twins share their class with the owners daughter so there’d been a lot of excited arranging and visits to get her adjusted to us.

Let me see . A walk in the rain resulting in a wet dog laying by the woodstove giving off a warm doggy smell or a wet half eaten rabbit in the middle of the carpet giving off a revolting smell of guts. Now I remember why our cats , 7 of them over the years , were never allowed indoors to tramp all over the place .

Mines a house cat and always felt happy when my older cats brought presents home, never had a cat flap so no issue with unwanted visitors

lets not fall out over this peeps, i have had cats and dogs all my life, each to their own but i prefer a dog, yes i do get wet sometimes but that is a small price to pay for the hours of excercise i get, the people i meet etc

Lovely. One of my 3 is half Welsh Collie and Half Border Collie. Welsh ones are more brash and up front rather than stealthy, and yes, he is sitting at the dinner table, and no, he isn't allowed there.

Weve a Welsh Collie failed sheep dog called Clyde runs from sheep! And two German Shepherds. My Mrs goes through hoovers like most folk go through a packet of buiscuits.

Mine hasn't been washed for a year, she hates it and takes forever to dry after. I'm the only person in my house so I've given up on stopping the place stinking of dog. I know it must do, but I'm just used to it myself so don't notice.
