Hi, Don't believe what's written on the car it's unlikely to be true, manufacturers have form for disguising prototypes for on road testing.

Mate it's full of instrumentation, external sensors and cameras. It's certainly doing something interesting.

last prototype i was in was a scania lorry...and that was only a prototype because the compnay i was working for was making a new type of brake claiper for it...the rest of the lorry was a bog standard production scania...they painted that black too and wrote prototype on it...

I had a go in a Aston Martin at Elevington! Good fun. It was one of them driver experience things that my wife got me. Too short and too expensive! Daughter (11) got to drive a Ferrari and the lad had a few fast laps also in a Ferrari.

that's it a couple of porches a Ferrari and the aston supposedly went in the porch fast drive and the bu.gger was no faster than me in the wet /did a a bit of a tail slide

A young lad took me around the track in the Aston before I got a go. Errrr yeah a good bit quicker than me!! The track had been wet on the Sat and was dry on the sunday with just a few damp patches. Got the back end squirming in a couple of corners when I had a go. Went over too quick. Think a proper race track would of been better, kept losing where I was at with the cones.

the same here mate. I cut the chicane early and it was misleading .id rather race on a proper road and bends

it turns out they are testing it in high temperatures. The can thing on the roof is for measuring sunlight. Pretty cool job I would think.
