Fair enough, Never used an IFL so didn't know that. Newarc are lovely machine's. Got one of their 400A separate mig's coming in to play with soon.The newarc will run on a 40 amp breaker at 150 amps 100%.i run one comfortably on a 32 amp with 3.2 rods up to shorter bursts of 140 amps
The ifl is pretty much identical to it also.the rest are better on 230v
