New 151en set up

Hello everyone, I've just bought a 151en there'sno mention in the manual of how the wire is fed through , I have it coming off the top of the spool as this is a straight run, but I thought it normally comes off the bottom does it make any difference ? Sorry for the newbie question

Should be off the top as it is more direct to the feeder.
