Network unlock. (Phone)

I have an Huwawi p30 which is going to my wife.
It's out of contract and they have supplied me with an unlock code.
Putting in the ee sim it says input NCK but it only gives the phone pad not a qwerty keyboard.
I can't for the life of me find alpha characters other than a capital N.

How does it work?

It doesnt seem to. It appears that its an encrypted key BUT the app they link to for de-encrypting it does not work. either on the phone or the PC..

If the phone is out of contract then the original network will probably give you the code foc anyway.
Although this link seems to suggest it may have been supplied with the original phone/sim??

If you can find a suitable adaptor you could try plugging a usb keyboard into the phone and see if that works?

I have a Bluetooth one but I don't think it connects that earlier in the boot process.

Try removing the sum, starting the phone then put the new sim in once its bolted and that should still prompt you to unlock it.
If it does not prompt then you might have to go into the settings and "choose active sim" (or something like that)

Insert another network sim card that is activated i.e. connects to mobile data etc and that should invoke a pop up box asking for the unlock code.

ive always taken mine to shop and had it fully opened up to all networks

its just easier there mistake they replace phone my mistake throw phone in bin

It does bring the box up but...I think the code they sent me is encrypted.
There is an Huwawi de-encrypter but when I try it it does not create the 8 digit code..

I was on chat for over an hour today and it was like trying to educate pork. Easier to pull hens teeth.

They could not even answer if the unlock code should be Numerical only....lol

Have P10 light like the phone but loging to Huawei seems to be a nightmare evey time I try to log I is saya pw incorect, even though it seems too work the first time & I write it down.
As you say help usless
