(Needed)welding practice in the wolverhampton area

can anyone help me get a bit of mig welding practice in the wolverhampton area?

currently im doing a welding course but its only 2hours a week and with 16 students and only 1 tutor i don't get much guidence.

so if anyone can help i would be deeply greatful

sorry but as im on low income i won't be able to pay you anything but if you got any odd jobs need doing i would be happy to help.

I'll happily give you a chuck. I'm an inexperienced welder myself but have the kit, the gas and the metal. I live in Halesowen. I need to know what thickness of plate your test is going to be on. There's a steel stockholder near me where I can cadge scrap material. I've got loads of 16swg (1.5mm) but you're no doubt working on thicker material.

Don't think I'm a tutor. I may learn things from you. However I can lend you a very good DVD on mig welding automotive sheet metal.

Im using 3mm plate but it can be any thickness really because its all about consistency, so if i can do it on thinner plate then thicker plate should be no problem.

Halesowen is a bit far as i don't drive, but i should be able to catch the bus.
