Hiya. I own a Clarke 145 and cannot see how it will cleanly weld body panels with the lowest output at 35amps.
I’ve read the autostar is recommended for the automotive industry and available for 375 exc but I’m open to any machine around the 4-700 mark that will be gentle on thin steel panels 0.8-1mm etc.
I’ve tried reading through the forum but couldn’t see a recent post specific to thin steel on old cars. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Alan
