Purely because my first MiG machine was a used one so this time round I have the money and I want to get new together with the assurance that I have at least 20 yrs of spares guarantee. In 20 yrs time I doubt I'll be doing much MiG work as I'll be nearly 73 by then![]()
I am at that stage in my life where I can buy new (kids grown up, mortgage long since paid off etc) so that's what I'll do. Ok, I do also agree that I could get more bells and whistles from a lower priced used machine. I just want that nice fresh just out of the box experience though.
