need to put a dish onto some washers

any ideas how i can do this on the cheap n easy

got some m8 stainless penny washers that put a bit of a dish / flare the edges up a tad

any suggestions for basic equipement

Tap them into the end of a tube with ball pein hammer?

A short length of tube like a band, as a die, and a ball bearing as a punch, squeezed in a vice, will do it easy, if you cant find a ball bearing use a ball pein hammer.

A bit of tube/pipe of a suitable diameter and a ball pein hammer.

or short piece of pipe and long smaller bolt and nut and tighten the bolt bit like reverse press

yeah i think the pipe will prob do it , needs to be flat with just the edges beveled up so i guess a bolt with some other suitable washers might do it

might have a flare head nut that'l suit

countersink bolt + nut... do it up onto a socket...

M8 penny washers??? 19mm would probably do the job...

To save you the work if you need a cupped, spring-washer, Belleville washers are commercially available from fixing/fastener supply counters.

ball pein hammer and a block of wood is how i would do it :P

A bit of tube and a bit of bar. If you had a few to do, the punch, drill a guide hole up the end, to keep it central on the bottom die tube.
