Hey there lads my first post so go easy on me!Im doing a lot of thinking on buying a thermal arc 202 Ac/dc as a replacement for a Tig that is breaking my heart with problems a solter aerotig 200a Ac/dc a Spanish machine which I'm sure you probably never heard of but it actually wasn't to bad on dc for stainless but on Ac it was very finicky to get a decent arc started and the arc would keep cutting out!Anyway it decided to go pop right as I was in the middle of making 200 small stainless brackets for a customer every time I went to start a weld the machine would turn off then back on.this was at the end of November and still halfway through January I still have a broke machine that is proving to be very difficult to get fixed as the distributer here in Ireland is being very slow to get it sorted Anyway I'm just looking for a very reliable inverter and am limited to single phase supply as that's all I could get hooked up to my shop.200a will do me fine as I won't be doing much up past 130a I reckon. Are the thermal arc 202 Ac/dc a reliable machine as this is what I have my eye on from a reputable supplier in Ireland for €1650 inc vat which I thought wasn't bad. What's your opinions on this plant please because I don't plan on buying another plant in a years time!
