when i sharpen my tungsten needle, during welding it becomes deformed into a big lump or loses its sharpness

can you help me set this machine temperature to the perfect level?, usually i solder bicycle tools

If you are welding on ac, your ac balance is too high towards the positive side of the wave...turn it down to about 30%...if that makes your issue worse, turn it to 70%

Also, make sure you are using a tungsten rated for AC, if you arenusing AC of course

Which machine is it? The one at the top or the one at the bottom?

If either is your machine and you want to weld in AC, it's the right hand dial on the middle row. If you want to weld DC, it's the left hand toggle switch.

Try taking the pix straight on, we can't see very much at that extreme angle.

The Switch bottom left is on AC. Switch it to DC (all the way to the bottom) and try again.
