so far I've done T-fillet, T-fillet flat, outside corner and a lap joint.
i don't know why i have do it either, i think its to show that i can constantly do a good weld.
perhaps im just being daft but whats a T fillet flat?
on my test i had a 10mm fillet,a 18mm multipass fillet,a 10mm vertical up fillet and a 25mm butt.
welding in a straight line comes with practice,as does positioning yourself and not setting your hands on fire which is why im surprised they want to see 3 straight beads on a plate,it seems pointless to me as working as a welder you will always be welding joints.
im currently in Poland but after xmas if you want some practice and fancy a trip to stoke i may be able to help you out.
