As long as the cable run to the shed is semi decent (i.e. It's not 1.5mm lighting cable 50m down the garden) then you should be able to get 160 amps or thereabouts out of it from a normal 13 amp plug (rtech's own figures on some of their sales literature).

Thanks! I'm pretty sure it's not that light of a cable, will have a look later, pretty sure it might be able to be upgraded to 16amp

If you make the bed frame for a friend do not at any point gut it with seat belts , if you do and anything goes wrong in an accident your in serious trouble . There are loads of decent welders about on a tight budget but make sure you get a euro torch machine and you need to get down to 30 amps on the low setting .
