Looking online and looking at soo many reviews my head is hurting.
Seen this
Clarke MIG160TM 240V Turbo MIG Welder
For £315
or
Sealey IMIG160 160Amp MIG Welder Inverter
for £305
Im 23 and just started a performing engineering operations college course and have been learning mig, tig and stick and getting on well with good comments from my lecturers on all welders, both lecturers thought I had done welding prior to the course.
I wont be using it for much thin steel, probably 3-5mm, normally just **** about stuff and projects I can think/afford to make. but i can pass a root or v if needed for thicker stuff.
Interested in what the difference is with the inverter welder?
Should I look at getting one of these for around £300 or will it just seem rubbish compared to the ones we have at college? Also I live down in Cornwall so finding used machines near me is hard.
Cheers for any help or recommendations in advance!
