am starting new landy project soon its a 109" with a defender windscreen.
going to be used for overlanding and need someone who can fabricate a box section out of ally box for back that comes over to windscreen.

Can't you do it in the good old Land Rover tradition with pop rivets on a frame ?

its the actual framework i need making. needs some box section curving to go over windscreen.
wouldnt be so bad if mate im doing it for was keeping series windscreen as thats a pce of cake as its a flat top.

will be rivetting the ally sheet to that

Read in one of the Land Rover forums that if you fit a defender windscreen, you won't be able to use the 109 roof anymore. Will it be a canvas top?

this is sort of thing i need making.
main dif is roof for cab will be incorporated into section and only need top sect as will be keeping original side panels.
so it will run front to back.

It looks like a 4x4 burger van It sounds like you are making something like a hitop cab and body for it. Can you make two profiles then make it into box with some flat strip and does the actual frame need to be aluminium ? you could make it from steel if it's only going to be riveted to the panel.

the roof needs to be ally as when not in use as camper normal roof will be put back which is why keeping original sides. so needs ally to keep weight down
sect above windscreen needs to be box that needs curving and slots milling in it so to fix it to windscreen also needs curved sect for back door
