Recently I got the power supply set up in my man cave so the next step is equiping it with some machinery. I have basic equipment to jobs with at the moment but a bandsaw would make things a lot more efficient
Im currently looking at a femi N265 xl i have been advised the Italians make reliable bandsaws the other femi model I was looking at is the 2200 xl although it has a smaller capacity the former costs in around £3000 the latter costing £1600
The band saw in my workplace is made by Sealey although over the past 2 years i have replaced the bearings twice, the vice handle once and the trigger handle twice :/ i will add that i do not abuse this saw and never have. Is it normal to replace parts this many times in 2 years?
So my question is shall i just save for one of these Italian bandsaws my local machinery dealer swears by or should i just go for one of the Chinese made UK assembled makes?
