Hi everyone,
Becaue places that offer p/coating don't have specific silver colour originally used on some of the alloys in 80's I had to respray (2K paint)them myself, however I found that even good quality paint is not as tough as powder coating.
My question is , if I sand blast the alloys, apply primer and two/three coats my silver base coat, then go to the place where they do powder coating and ask to put clear coat on it , will standard base coat suitable for wet paint stand powder and high temperature in the oven ??? does anyone try it before ???
In this way I could achieve right colour with durability of powder coating
Thanx Rob
