Hi Popcorn,, great advice and I have took your advice and contacted doubleboost and got a further reduction down to £459 so as you said its a no brainer now and 5yr warranty, thank you so much for your reassuranceThey are a great welder, yes ok they don't have the new fangled features of the newer version, but I don't think those extra features are worth nearly double the price.
The guide in the manual is pretty good and will definitely get you started.
To be fair I don't think 400 quid is that great a saving on a new one, especially if you can get a discount code. As I said earlier talk to @doubleboost about a discount code.
