Need a 3g router recommendation...

I need a recommendation for a 3g router with the following spec:

12v supply
sim card slot (not interested in a usb slot for a dongle)
Firmware support for: DDNS, Port forwarding/virtual servers
Wifi

Currently have a used Teltonika rut-104 which is mechanically perfect but it refuses to get anything more than an edge/2.5g connection even with a new antenna, ordered a Huawai e5186 which will be here tomorrow, but that doesn't appear to have ddns support (should have researched that first)

We've found that the Huawei B310 4G router is poor.
It doesn't show a LAN client list or have the capacity to set reserve static IPs for devices and the port forwarding interface is rubbish.

We are going to try the TP Link 4G router as we have found the VDSL version is very good.

I've done a bit more research and found that every cellular supplier uses carrier grade nat here in the UK, with the exception of three, and in that specific case, only on 3g connections. So ddns support is basically a no-go unless you get a public facing IP.

So for now I've decided to stick with the teltonika but try a different prepaid SIM.

Amazon return on the Huawei 5186, good to know the other ones are also poor. I'll look at tplink if the teltonika doesn't do the job.

I was thinking of a tool for cutting fancy edges on bits of wood.......Im thinking 3G......Is that a new brand....Ive got a Bosch and thats OK

Update: O2 sim repurposed for the iPad, three data only SIM in the teltonika gives a nice 4g signal. Force the router to 3.5g only, change the apn and you get a nice public ip you can use with ddns service.

Highly recommended. New router no longer required
