Want to - but the prices are just getting out of hand now. It'll be nigh on £100 for me and the missus before we've even walked through the door or paid for the fuel.
It is a great show, but having been to it 6/7years in a row there is alot that is samey. Its just the size that makes it feel less stale than it really is. That said, drop ticket prices a little and I'd happily go back for the day

I haven't been to the NEC since they stopped paying people to go to Birmingham

I've been today, seemed to be as busy as usual if not busier. I only really went around the autojumble / traders area and then to our club stand, so I haven't seen much of the rest of the show.

Yes - I went with the wife - all in all it proved to be a £200 day out - I managed to stay at the show for 2.5 hrs, which I thought was an achievement.
Would I go again....?

I only go for trade shows though

Oh, I had a bit of a chat on the R Tech stand when I first got there, I liked the look of that new R181 and thought about ordering it for most of the weekend. As usual, not quite sure I can get my head out of "don't blame the tools" for my welding quality.
