NEC Restoration show .Thief caught on camera.

I was at the NEC with Xtreme Plasma & R-Tech Welding.
I had welded some stanley blades together just to use as a talking point.
They were displayed on the R_Tech stand .
One lad in particular showed great interest , I gave him one to take home .
I was editing video today , could not believe my eyes .
A lad removed the clamps from a weld fixture and nicked one og my welded blades .
I did 12 gave one away at the end of the show there was 8 left .
Very disappointing .

Well if you are actually 100% sure he stole it why not show his face?

If he is innocent he has nothing to hide, if he is guilty you have nothing to hide.

I did stand duty at the NEC Motorcycle show for quite a few years, when we had a display of wheels showing the new tyre range the first job every morning was replacing the valve caps that had been nicked. Another year the night security guards had dogs with them that found some lads hiding under the stage with a load of clothing.

Unfortunately they are all around us, when we used to sell at the shows you new something would get nicked but just had to take it on the chin, I think some were trophy hunters, didnt matter what it was but they had to have something

Possibly but it was under a clamp .
I am not 100 % certain .

I think most/all retail businesses account for a percentage of goods being lost/stolen/damaged. They call it leakage or spillage or something?
