I have taken the train a couple of times, about £13 return from Stafford. Far easier than driving, and less than the parking fee.I live about 30 minutes from NEC but drive 25 minutes to local railway station and get train to Birmingham internation station and you can walk into NEC without even going outside, about £2.50 return last time, it's bad enough paying through the nose for everythingther but the parking charges really do wind me up!

Will be interesting to see if they deem £16 sufficient for parking this year…
Probably not at nec prices thoughGo on the train, no parking and you can have a few pints then
I went to the shooting show with my youngest and the parking was free for that too, I don't actually remember them checking that we were going to the shooting show so I suspect on some days there will be options to park in a free car park.Camping Caravan and Motorhome show is £10 and free parking. Motorcycle live £25 + £16 parking , why?
The parking is a bit of joke but if you book in advance it's cheaper. The bit that bugs me with the parking is if you follow the signs they will have you walking halfway round Birmingham to get to your car when often there is another route.Better start saving up for the parking and all other rip offs that is the NEC
Would be nice if they toned them down a bit,but highly unlikely
From the reactions, it looks like @doubleboost's going to have a lonely day. Sorry JohnIf someone asks you to exhibit something at the Classic Car Show punch them in the face and run
