new air bags arn't cheap some newish cars are wrote off because all the airbags have been fired

just had a look around used fiesta 2009 airbag kit complete £750

so imagine the cost new

My cousin had her Yaris broken into just for the airbag, they left all the pound coins in the dash and CD's behind!

Friend localy with an E class Merc, came back from a couple of days off to find the whole dash unit removed. Looking on the web, one of the first things they found, was exactly how to do it.....

An aside, where I live we tend to not lock our cars or even take the keys out. Friends in the town about 4km away don't lock theirs because the damage caused by forced entry is worse than the cost of the goods stolen.
The difference? The scrotes expect us to be armed in the country and don't risk it
