If I had to call it anything it would be similar to the boat name, something like Coggy McCogface then I thought Richard Gears. Then I looked at the picture of Sam Fox and couldn't concentrate any more.

The early Detric engines were used in Motor torpedo boats.
Saving weight and space. Thus more power to weight ratio.

They have a few sectioned radial engines at the RAF Cosford museum. Amazing pieces of engineering, makes my brain ache just trying to visualise how they start to draw up the plans to manufacture them.

Lots of aero sectioned engines in the Science Museum. Seeing inside engines and machines in general has been a fascination of mine since seeing sectioned cars at 1970's motor shows when I was a kid.

Bristol Museum had a load of old engine parts stored near Cribs Causeway for a long time. I wonder if they are the same engines.
