Do yourself a favour and go with glue and screws as suggested above.
I went down the specialist hire route for my oak floor....lovely angled nailer.
Hit it too hard and it splits the tongue. Don't hit it hard enough and the nail sticks out. Both scenarios result in the tongue not fitting properly
