It’s a high end countersink widely used in aerospace industry.
Usually set in the tool room and then checked regularly to ensure it’s making consisten sized counter sinks.
Quite expensive. Yours looks top notch nd with additional bits

Finally common sense has prevailed.
Of course the best thing to do is buy a plane.
Then you’ll need a hangar, more specialist tools, possibly some training and other stuff
All of which will make great threads and keep us all entertained

At work they tend to call them Vanmars, which is actually a brand name. I guess vanmar pioneered them?
I stick with countersink cages, they are very useful but I don't get using mine much.
Bought a job lot of them once, some were actually vanmar branded, they were pretty old and took a 3/8 or 5/16 (can't remember) threaded bit as opposed to the 1/4 UNC threaded bits pictured.
That's a nice one with a nylon face. The bits can be very expensive because "aerospace tools"

Im Several years in the aerospace industry. These tools were brought in as soon as the less experienced guys were brought in. Or shall we call them butchers, 3.2mm holes soon turned into 10mm holes when the butchers got their hands on the sheet metal. But yes, very useful tool, great tool to keep skilled men and engineers stress levels down

Experience aside surely when you have hundereds of holes to countersink they are a great timesaver.
Even the old hands mess up from time to time.
