Mystery change gears

I've had this box of change gears sitting in my workshop unused for a long while. I've decided to have a clear out and these are on my list of things that could go.

They are probably 32 DP (or close) as that's what I wrote on them when I last measured them.

Some are big, some are small. Some are covered in protective wax and probably new old stock. There are some compound gears too.

I have no idea what machine they belong to. They are in a tin that says "London B lathe" but I may very well have transferred them to this box myself.

Does anyone know what machine (lathe, mill, other) they may belong to? In the past I thought they might be useful to make an indexing fixture, and if there's no real interest I could always slide them back under the bench for that purpose one day.

The 127/48 is a classic metric transposing gear for a lathe. Measure the 48T my guess is it's 1.563" diameter.

Some of those look like CVA or Monarch 10EE metric threading gears. I have a full set (thanks to @Pete. ) I'll measure up and post the details later. If that's what they are they are quite sought after and would be very saleable.

Funny you say that as late last night those are the two lathes I found online that seemed likely candidates. I'll look forward to more details.

Not got it home yet. Looks better than expected including 10 metric change wheels, both steadies and the collet chuck. Sadly only 1650 top speed but can live with that. Made a suitably hefty pallet. So much easier with forklifts. Not home yet. Stopped in services!

If you cross-compare, you will be very confident. The reason I post three links is they differ slightly in what they say about the gear with > 150 teeth.

Yes, I'm confident that's a CVA metric set ... possibly more than the basic set too.
The give-away is the gear with the external and internal keyway.

Here's mine:

Top L to bot R: 48, 48, 50, 152, 55, 60, 65, 70, 72, 75, 80, 127.
With the exception of 127 and 152 all are 3/4" bore with a 3/16" keyway.
Top left are two 48T and also have an external keyway so they can be made into a compound pair with the 127.
The 72T (bot row 2nd from left also has this feature.

The thread plate on the machine:

As @Agroshield has spotted the 152T (used as an Idler) is different by 1 tooth from the Monarch 10EE set. No idea why other than someone at CVA couldn't count
As it's only used as an idler it doesn't make any difference.

It would be interesting to know what the tooth counts for all yours are.
You have an assembled 127+48 which is much less faffing than mine where you need a short length of key to lock the 48 and 127 together.

As @Pete. has said - these are quite expensive to source.
There are others on this forum with CVA's .... @fizzy for one

As you have more than are needed for the usual metric threads, perhaps you have the ones for BA threads too.
I think these are 43, 53, 56, 59, 66, 73, 81 85 (see table in my previous post).
Could you do a tooth count?

Yeah you got a little gold mine there. They are the same as the Monarch gears and before I got into gear cutting I had to buy a set of them from America. They cost me (a lot) more than the lathe did and I paid £500 for that.
