Inspired by all the other welding trolley threads I made one for my welder as i was sick of carting it and my gas bottle about when i wanted to use it.
I have gone for big wheels as i have to get it out of the house, up some steps and over some gravel to use it. Whenever i seem to do welding for my mates it always seems to be on mud/grass too so small wheels just wouldnt work.
take one £12 B+Q trolley:
Remodel it a bit:
I only used a small length of angle, a little box offcut and 2 smll bits of flat length for this.
Fit welder:
Its not perfect but it does the job nicely and at £12 i cant complain too much
Would have been better if i hadnt made the gas bottle overhang the wheels so much as it would make it easier to get it up steps backwards then. Might remodel it into mk 2 when i have time and some nice weather to do it in!
