That is because the piping fittings unions and threadtape all CONFORM TO A STANDARD! And judging by the pics your welds don't. If any outside agency found out I was welding customers pipe work they would be all over my work like the plague. The UK has these standards set for a reason. Just like nearly all of the rest of the world. People come on here asking how to build a farm trailer ect out of 10MM RSJ with a 100a mig. and most of the time they realise how wrong their day could go if it broke. Just like the welds on your pipe work.

In your first thread it was obvious you do little listening. Now it's clearl you have scant regard for regulations, saftey of yourself, or others in your charge, or employment.


Telling us we're all pussies. Is not reasonable argument. I may just spend a little longer behind my screen. And contact the relavant authorites in Canada. There can't be that many textile manufacturers there. Well see if they like been told there pussies.

You need to be a bit carefull as Canada has something called BPE regulations that cover steam over 15psi and hot water over 30psi ....It requires something called a pressure welding licence to weld/repair systems above those pressures.

Ok guys gonna see whats involved in getting someone wih a certificat to come weld for us.... In the mean time im gonna sell my welder cuz seems like according to you, anything i wanna build need a certificat unless im building kitchen utensils or welding coke cans like the rest of yall...

lets get one thing clear here. you came to us for advice. when this advice was given, you gave a very strong impression that you either knew better than us, or that you didn't care for the advice we were giving.

now, there a fair few professional pipe welders on here, and other professional plate and sheet welders, along with plenty of others that specialise in TIG for food or hygiene welding and so on, the amount of knowledge on these matters is endless on this forum.

i, although having a small qualification in ARC welding, consider myself a complete novice, but even i can tell you that you need a cert for those welds, and they don't look up to certificate standards from what i can see. if i had brought someone in to do those, i would be very unhappy with the result.

now if you want to sell your welder, feel free, there is probably someone on here that would buy it from you.

maybe once you've sold it you might be able to afford a certified welder to finish off those pipes for you...
