I must admit ive never been a fan of red E30's either but its growing on me..

ive got the correct paint to paint the wings but my plan is to get the full car painted later in the year.

my plan is to get it painted venetian red a more deeper red than it is now.

so how many ppl know what cars were painted venetian red?

you are right though a clean and polished up red E30 can look stunning. its just the hassle of getting a lot of them back to red.

I used to have a Mk1 Transit breakdown truck in Venetian Red. And I have a feeling that my Mk2 Granada was also Venetian Red.

iv had mine buffed and its still pink, might just get it sprayed hot pink lol

wee update.. got the diff bolted up and the clutch slave changed over. got her sitting in the garage the now until my wee brother sells his jap scrap as that's in the drive. ( ends tomorrow on eBay )
had a wee go at getting the bonnet polished up once it was in the garage. planning on doing the rest while its in there
ill get some fresh pics of my polishing tomorrow.

oh and the diff locks up nicely

plus I got both my headlight wipers working today

ive been at the paint work ive took a during picture but its in the garage and the light isint to great.. gives and idea though..

ive bought my self some autoglymm paint renovator and some autoglymm super resin polish so hopefully ill get it looking a bit better until funds allow a respray

If you can borrow a machine polisher and get some Farecla G3 that will speed up the paint renovation no end.
