It depends what you call expensive when you work out how versatile it is and what you can make with it, ask Mr chunkolini, I bought it because of seeing the work he turned out with one

I got the handle fitted today and the grill knocked up out of stainless rebar, the stainless rods were nice to weld with but the flux is brittle as fook like

I can't remember to be honest, it was about 3 or so years ago. I think you need to register on metal crafts site to find out the prices for everything. Send off for one of their catalogues because there is more in there than is shown on the website. I bought a lot of extras with my setup which is not shown on the website.
