Here is my new project i got today,this will be my first classic car restoration,it's not a pretty sight as it stands but given time i hope it will be transformed from an ugly duckling into a swan lol,a long term project if ever i saw one

I did see
your earler post asking about welding sills on a ford consul and thought you ment like the one I am doing, see pic. I think you will find there are lots of panels avi for the consul you have because the production run was a lot longer than mine, so had propper press forms made. Am I correct in thinking that your consul has a propper chassis as the design dates from the 50's into the 60's rarther than the monocoque (pressed out chassis)? If so will make life easer for you come mot time if the chassis is good. You did mention in your earler post that you joined a formum for consuls. If it was the consul and classic forum then that not the one for your car, and yes that one is a bit dead most of the time. Keep expecting to see some tumble weed roll across the screen
