My new job (apprentice)

Hi all, some of you may remember me asking for any leads on places I could enquire about apprenticeships. I've since got one here, as a general welder fabricator apprentice. I did some runs and stick some bits of plate together as a very basic ability test and he seemed happy enough.

Excellent, well done, it's good to see that some youngsters are capable of getting up and doing it for themselves, and not just waiting for someone to hand it to them stick at it, learn everything you can, ask as many questions as you can think of no matter how stupid they may sound ( no such thing ) your eye's and ears are your most valuable assets right now, so put them to good use, once again, well done I hope you enjoy it

Good on you, don't teach them everything you know at once though . Don't get fed up when they pass you the sweeping brush either, it's all part of the job (and mashing tea)
