The manta is probably the best opel in my opinion it looks stunning, theres one a few miles fro me inblack its seen better days bt still looks nicer than new sciroccos or ford rs etc, are you gonna put the rally livery on it or keep it one colour?

Nice engine should be tidy when all cleaned up!

Theres nothing better than old cars especially when the bonnets are open to show off fully chromed engine bays

nice one well done ... did love the Manta.. mate had one years ago bright yellow with all the rally skirts and rear wing... looked the tits. im doing a mk3 XR3i ... not posted for a while will get some of mine up. Also Billing as in aquadrome ?

Are they yamaha carbs by any chance? If so it's what I have on hillman imp project, do they have to be led flat or can they be on an angle

Yup, got it mot'ed after fitting the 3rd servo. Drove it, put out the fire, fitted a big heatshield, drove it some more, broke down, replaced ignition module, drove it, ripped the bike carbs off and fitted injection and made a firm commitment to never touch bike carbs again!
Its currently in my folks garage largely sanded back. Just a bit more to do then its off for a pro to spray it.

As it it now

Left everything on to keep dust out of car and engine. Wil strip off all chrome, windows, lights etc to finish it off then off to the sprayer.
