Digital levels are great on a milling table or something, but for shed building nah.....stick with traditional. Who cares if its off.....adds charachter.
Only modern gadjet i really like for such things is the self leveling laser level, good one not cheapo diy one. Superb piece of kit. Used one to level up the road forms before i laid my shed base.
Red wine gauge, doesnt go wrong, doesnt require recalibration, doesnt require line of sight to work, can sneak through holes in adjoining walls etc, cheap as chips and you can use water with red to start with food dye in it if you would rather keep the wine for consumption.
Having said that, 0.2deg, whats your tolerance? Are you building a wooden shed that will sproing around with expansion or a space shuttle docking connector?

I'm realising that the materials I'm using are so far out anyway that it makes a bit of a nonsense of trying to get everything exactly plumb.
By my calculations if a straight 3000mm length of wood is out by 0.2 degrees, that's only 1mm off where I want the end to go.
My wood has more of a bow to it than that to start with.
Noggins to go in next
Coming on nicely. No window(s)? uUnless that's a security issue, it's going to be hellish dark in there - especially in the depths of Winter.....
Any plans for a power supply?
fftopic: But anyone remember when TV was like this......?

thats a strong shed for its size, have you seen the ones they sell at large diy superstores, more like four fence panels of the cheapest sort tacked together by a 9 year old.
