I would go for a 1/2” snap on mg750 impact gun, they are light, very well built and they pack a punch! Before going all Milwaukee battery tools that’s what I used and I still have them just they gathering dust in my cupboard.

Also forget using 3/4” adapters to reduce to 1/2”, I use strurdy snap on reducers with replaceable tips and they still snap ! Best to invest in quality impact sockets…

Air tools have gone down in price, they’re not that expensive anymore !

I think there my be a couple of not too big (as in commercial truck big) rattle guns in the workshop at work.
The Fitters have all gone over to expensive battery guns long since.
I'll have to asking I can borrow one to try out on my IR30. I can use the LDV 27mm wheel nuts as my benchmark
