sorry, we don't go further north than the Barnsley one But three tons of Kit, that takes three hours to put up, And having full time jobs, Means we don't go more that three hours from where the major crafts are based. But here is a video to show what you are missing.

@RWD3M, As far as I know, the set up will be exactly the same as last year. We really enjoyed that event and were hoping to get it, which we did. Are you at the same event as last year then? I'll have to cast something else for you.

Big Tony, is a bit old fashioned. He is wearing split hose. I.E two separate legs. To prevent exposing his 'gentleman sausage and vegetables' His shirt is down to his knees and is tucked in. He also wears braise, which are a bit like big boxer shorts normally made of linin. when you've got all that cloth, it does tend to get a bit baggy.

I find report backs of great days out on various Facebook Groups, but it can be surprisingly difficult to find out about forthcoming events in time to plan to attend them! If I don't get them into the Diary months in advance SWMBO fills weekends with exciting stuff like curtain shopping, garden centre trudges, cream teas and the like.

Now, who has that list of all the beer, gin and whisky festivals?

Tewksbury is the Medieval festival. You really can't miss it. The whole town gets behind it. I think the place is Gupsill field

The codes on the list are for our info, I just forgot to take them off. HAG is Have a Go. That could be archery, Calligraphy and other safe activities that we do

It is superb, and it's on several fields! The set up and infrastructure was run by a friend of mine for many years and I used to help out driving the tractor and the telehandler among other things. It is a fabulous (and cheap) day out.
