HI this is My Fix For Wire feed Problems with the sip migmate 130
iv'e been reading the forum with great interest.
It seems when you have a problem with your wire feed eveybody attacks
it from the top by putting more pressure on to the rollers and down
into the motor itself.
Try this take off the feed roller and take hold
of the spindle that the roller sits on pull the spindle up and push
it back down.
if there is movement ie up or down the spindle is being
forced into the motor housing which is throwing the feed roller out
of line with the wire ie its to low or to high to line up with the
wire.
To fix this pull up the spindle to its highest point and place
one or two star washers with the pattern on the inside over it then
push the washers to the base.
The washers will hold the spindle up They act like a surcilp.
Next Take out the pressure wheel and turn it over and replace if its
an old machine you will find that the pressure wheel has been pushed
back into the plastic holder at the top or the bottom and is not
running true with the wire feed roller.Turning it over should help.
You can still put a small bar across the top to stop any flexing
of the rollers but don't screw it down to tight.
This Might Not Work For Every Body But Iv'e Fixed 3 migmates 130 This
way.
