Hi, Lee from stoke, Mad about off road buggys, bikes etc.

I have built a few off road buggys but for now,
Honda pilot with 800cc rotax snowmobile engine, clutches and subaru impreza diff. The standard pilot has about 37 bhp and I bought this pilot with no engine so decided to graft the 140 bhp 800 rotax twin 2 stroke in to the back of it. Lets just say the brakes need work

Also in amongst those videos you will see a white framed 2 seat buggy with yellow panels in later videos. This is a buggy I have built mainly to compete in comp safari events. It had A honda Jazz engine in it in the videos but then I changed it for a toyota mr2 engine and gearbox which I never got to run properly and gave up on. As I speak I am putting 2 800 rotax engines in this buggy and hope to do a comp safari event in less than 2 weeks.

Hi Sam, yes my knee would not play ball which made my leg go dead after a few laps and my passenger did not seem to like the idea of hanging out so got rid of it. Did you finish the rorty or did the edge buggy take over? any pics?

Joker, There are places to use them when you get to know other people with buggys, Just have to be very carefull not to upset the landowner, Go buy an unfinished project and get it up and running!

Hi Lee. Shelved the rorty for the time being hope to put that on the road at some point. Bought a box of bits project 90% complete "supposedly" but ended up stripping it down and restarting, almost there tho plumbing and wiring to finish it has a Suzuki 1200 bandit engine in it. The yellow edge is the kids buggy that I finished off a few weeks ago so now have the urge to get my one finished.The last autocross meeting is on Sunday which is only a few miles from here so will have the winter to get wide with it before the start of the new season.

I recoginse the 'peugeot' from a friends pictures... he builds that type of thing and has his own to race. He's called Phil or Rippthrough on forums and he's from Rotherham. You never know, small world etc.
