Just bought a secondhand Murex
Tradesmarc 181
2 questions
First one the long plastic wire feed piece that feeds wire into euro torch has a split end
Where can i buy another or a universal one
Secondy
I have just got a Binzel 3 mb36 euro torch will this be ok on this machine

No seems fixed
Bit its the other end thats split where its pulled through from the reel

Take picture off the motor where it sits ? Maybe someone has had similar problem and overcame it with something else

Most machines just have a length of liner between the reel an dthe feed assembly.

I don't think the yellow bit should be in there, it's normally a steel tube, you twist to lock the plastic sleeve in then insert the steel tube in through the euro socket, screwing the torch connector in will set it to the correct position.
The wire feed unit is the same across quite few models of ESAB/Murex machines so the part No. listed will probably fit.

Here's a Murex 251 I had in for repair after it got a bit melted.

i was thinking of cutting the split end ( coned end nearest the roller somit doesnt catch flush, better than a split.
Theres no metal tube only the yellow tube poking out.

That's production welders for you, if the wire stops feeding, just hold the trigger down, I'm guessing the wire "birdsnested" until it found a ground then the current heated the wire up until it melted everything.
