Murex 353 transmig voltage help

Murex 353 transmig voltage help - suspect low welding voltage- on maximum getting 28 volts. What should voltage be? Can anyone advise? Thanks

OCV (Open Circuit Voltage) should be 40v, under load it will vary a bit. Looking at the manual the setting range peaks at 33 volts.

If it's only showing 28v OCV then there's something wrong...

I’ve just checked my 353, on the highest setting the screen reads 45V OCV and measures 48V OCV with the multimeter at the torch.

I’ve had similar problems in the past caused by the one of the voltage selector switches failing.

The fault could also be due to loss of a phase in the output, caused by a burnt or corroded connection or an open-circuit diode in the bridge rectifier.
