Can I suggest that you invest in a set of silicon leads with interchangeable ends, they're not too expensive & miles better than the pvc leads it comes with! A case is also a good idea, you can make one yourself from wood & line it with yoga mat material.

I subsequently bought another scopemeter from another brand, had it in the service truck for when it is required and three years later one time to see if it still works, battery is stuffed (NiMh) and the place I got it from had closed down
. The arrogance of the Fluke people was astounding, my dream was to own and I believed it was a sign of achievement to own something of this nature, but in the end nor so. The original lifetime warranty on their upper range products was eroded away, my unit clearly was in almost pristine condition which they acknowledged but basically 'bad luck'. Haven't bought anything Fluke since. My story
