Does such a thing exist? I've got a cheap Clarke MIG welder that has served me pretty well for many years, but it's fairly agricultural and I fancy a bit of an upgrade. I'd quite like to have the ability to learn TIG on Aluminium, but space is at a premium so I don't really want to have two separate welders, if I can help it. So I've been looking at multi-process machines which seem perfectly adequate for my occasional hobbyist use. Trouble is none of the ones I've looked at do AC TIG. I presume this is because MIG and stick are DC processes, so doing AC as well would need more circuitry.
I'm guessing the answer is no, but is there such a thing as a multi-process welder that does AC TIG?
Thanks.
