I specifically wanted a gravel bike because I wanted drop bars but hate riding on the road

Did lots of cycling during 1st lockdown. Have moved house 18 months ago and not been on a bike since. Absolutely everywhere around here is steep hills, not ideal for a non lycra clad lunatic who just enjoyed leisure cycling. There is a forest nearby which I believe is popular with mtb crowd but my hybrid wouldn't suit. Approaching 50, maybe an e-mtb is the thing for me?

Yep they are great for taking you further than you would normally go
