The scanner at Southend is tiny, they are only doing my knee, but at that point, my shoulders are pressed hard against the front of the machine, its as far as it can go before I get wedged.MRI Scanners are larger now. The first one I was in had my nose nearly touching the top of the tunnel. Very unnerving. And the noise was almost deafening. No sleeping for me. My last one. I had my head strapped down. While they showed me images through those goggles that the youngsters wear to play games. And I had to answer questions all the time. Very wierd.
always... i have several bits of shrapnel. they wont scan me below the neck

Wow, I'm worried about a bit of steel dust and you've got a file.I have had a few MRI, I have a file with my medical records what informs the MRI team about what is left in my what is metal and not fillings.
It is fun.
I fall asleep now in the scanner.
