Could we have a discussion about moving tools and equipment to job sites, etc please.
For my own situation; I don't live where I keep my welders, so have to bring or keep a lot of my stuff packed up away from home, and travelling to my course I'm advised to bring a bunch of study materials plus my PPE.
Previously I bought a Stanley basic toolbag which I use to hold my PPE and other bits and pieces separate from my tools which are in a ToughSystem DS400, but there was no way that will carry study books as well.
Sat watching a Thomas Nagy video on YouTube, and his advert for ITS who sponsors his channel now showed a rolling toolbag from Panasonic, which I've just ordered whilst it was on special offer, thinking this might help with my immediate need of getting my stuff to class or to where I'll be working on a job.
It got me wondering what other people do; if there are better longterm solutions... I had thought of investing in more of the ToughSystem stuff from DeWalt and using their trolley cart thing for it, but it's a bit overkill for going to class, and the cost of the smaller cases puts me off. Don't mind paying the money for the bigger DS400 and DS300, but £45+ for the DS150/100 is harder to accept.
I had previously thought of getting one of these helmet bags from Optrel but I don't imagine that it'll hold much besides a welding helmet.

This is what I've just ordered now, I'm hoping it'll do for the time being, but I'd be interested to hear what others do when transporting things from home/car to job sites/classes, etc.

EDIT: I don't drive a car; don't own a car myself yet, although I regularly have access to a car in the form of lifts from friends and family, though I can't always rely on being able to store things in a vehicle, sometimes I'm dropped off when my friend is on her way to work or I'm commuting via motorbike instead.
