Moving broadband supplier

its been upgraded to the boxes for years but customers are still stuck with copper lines

That's been my suspicion for years. Fibre is to a cabinet about 100 yds from me, but the copper wires must be the equivalent of the cork in a bottle?

i find it an insult when you look at the wires between cable and bt lines

It's always bugged me that they call their broadband "fibre" when the reality the only fibre is the one going to the cabinet, the to property is copper.

Some rural area do have FTTP(fibre to the premises), we have some friends who can't get normal superfast via phone line but the FTTP is available up to 300meg.
