motorsport fabrication tig welder options?

hi all, new to the forum and appreciate the great work your doing here, im looking a tig machine for general jobs like fabricating boost pipes, to at the extreme possibly an exhaust manifold with 3mm t304. I have a budget of £500

You will need an ac/dc machine, I think you will be lucky to find one that's any good for £500

£1000 is a more sensible budget, have you looked into a second hand machines ?

Hi thanks for the insight, having looked into ac/dc machines I think the budget may have to double, at least! Would consider a second hand machine if someone could point me in the right direction??,
