As a plumber to me thats looks a right mess

the thing with caravans and camper homes is for some reason theyve gone down the cheap flexipipe route

owners and the companys are both at fault as they dont winterise there gear no insulation wrapped around the pipes its lightweight theres no excuse to not do so

as ive explained before on here id rather use proper plastic pipe and if that means im using central heating plastic pipes them id rather use them

flex hoses move while being run and turned off they can wear a hole in them rather well

companies should include a drain down at side of the caravan to winterise the unit but many dont have them

the boiler is the main issue as you cant drain it down and that will be a fail point

That pipe is what i've ordered, i'm going to fit and try it and test it a few times at home with the mattress (the heaters under the bed) off so I can see what happens I joined motorhome fun but not payed yet

Yes but payrolls won't know about any other tax liabilities.

There is a drain down valve for the boiler and it is drained at the end of the season.
Other MH manufacturers use a temperature sensing dump valve.

There is a drain and it hasn't had water in while we've had it, I think the initial damage was done before we bought it, so i'm positive the pipe photo's i've posted haven't been damaged by frost. It also drains the boiler and hot water tank which also means that there's quite a lot of air in the pipes @addjunkie might have raised a good point.

just as a point of view

on cars and trailers they use copper pipe for hydraulic brakes if you look on many vehicles they are not fitted with the steel pipes they where first made of when new

on other parts they use rubber flex hoses more so from engine to the body in short lengths and yes they do leak after a long while

stiffer pipes are far better when they are needed the flex side of it should be used where needed at flex points on the vehicle

just so you know the braided flexipipes under sinks and baths are reknowned for failing due to presure of the tap been turned on and off
