Any machine shop should be able to make them for you. Nothing complicated just a tube really with a recess each end for bearings.

I did almost buy one, joking Dave wanted 35 quid for one, so I chopped a bit off one of my dozer poles and used that;-)
Dave was the D of P+D Kustoms, or whatever it's called now, he made bike frames.
So chop shops.

I paid £150 to have a hefty one machined up for my trike. A guy at a custom bike shop did it, Misdemeanour customs, it was called.
